About The Position

Quality Assurance (QA) is an integral part of operations at the Lynnfield, MA Innovation Center. Every employee at the center is responsible for ensuring we deliver quality in all that we do. The Quality Director and Quality Supervisor, who in turn direct the QA Team to conduct daily Quality Assurance inspection, manage the production QA effort. The overall QA mission is to make sure quality specifications are achieved, and only quality products are released to mail from the facility. Responsibilities

  • Inspecting that overall print and mail output quality meets client and USPS specifications.
  • Inspect reconciliation process of client sent piece counts and print/mail output piece counts.
  • Observe print, insertion, and Custom Insert transaction processing for compliance with Quality Assurance SOPs.
  • Support operational compliance with Conduent InfoSec001 policies.
  • Immediately alerting operations to QA non-compliance situations by:
  • Stopping non-compliant transaction processing.
  • Notifying shift supervision and/or operations management of non-compliant transaction processing concern.
  • Cooperating with Operations to identify, assess, and recover from QA non-compliance.
  • Increasing QA inspection of non-compliant production to ensure recovery actions have been implemented, and until desired improvement is achieved and sustained.
  • By engaging Operations or SBU Manager directly, if Shift or Quality Supervisor or Supervisor are unavailable.
  • Daily QA inspections include random sampling of production work in various Work Areas:
  • Manual Work Area SOP, Print Room Processing SOP, Machine Insert Processing SOP, NAIC Warehouse SOP, Secure Check Process Controls, Control Desk SOP, Metering & Shipping SOP, Scheduling SOP, Client Specific SOPs with destructive testing (opening sealed envelopes, inspecting and validating package contents, re-inserting, re-sealing, and returning inspected mail pieces to designated trays) from the associated Work Area.
