About The Position

Rochester Midland is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lab Technician for their Montgomery, Illinois location. This candidate must be a team player who can also work well independently. In this position, you will conduct quality control inspections to ensure company products adhere to established specifications and calibrates and standardizes laboratory equipment/instruments.

Requirements

• College level knowledge of chemical properties analyses and fundamentals
• Associate degree in Chemistry or the equivalent.
• Working level knowledge in the use of a personal computer and related software applications are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects manufactured products against the specifications provided by the Research and Development Laboratory.
• Inspects incoming raw materials against the specifications provided by the Research and Development Laboratory or suppliers.
• Standardizes all laboratory instruments and other equipment.
• Enters data into the computer regarding chemical contents of Company products.
• Organizes the chemical processing efforts, as appropriate, including obtaining documentation and attaching pick tickets.
