As the Quality Assurance Technician for McLane Global, you will play a pivotal role in day-to-day quality functions and tasks for our Henderson, CO distribution center. This role involves conducting inspections, testing, and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in any detail related field; quality experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and industry best practices.
  • Team player able to cooperate and collaborate with various departments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced Excel functions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly reporting concerns or incidents to department supervisors and managers as well as communicating interdepartmentally.
  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and verify HACCP compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), and company policies.
  • Conduct supplier and incoming material verification to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Support traceability and recall procedures by maintaining accurate records.
  • Incoming and outgoing shipment inspections for accuracy and damages
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure product integrity
