About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining quality standards during the development of cat and dog food product. Work in various areas and functions of the plant to ensure operators are performing the appropriate sanitation activities and quality checks per company policy and procedures. Requirements

  • High School or GED diploma preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience working in food quality, lab, manufacturing, production, or related environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality standards are achieved by maintaining documentation, effective communication, and adherence to Quality SOPs.
  • Drive First Time Quality (FTQ) and other quality initiatives within facility.
  • Perform Quality Management System checks on production floor.
  • Interpret data and evaluate trends.
  • Provide quality training to other associates as needed.
  • Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence and Total Performance Management processes.
