Join us and be part of our success!  Bachoco USA is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for our Albertville, AL location. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturdays as needed. 3:30pm-1:00am Summary: This Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily operational quality activities at the assigned complex.  Responsible for daily monitoring and verifying activities related to USDA, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, SQF, customer and company regulations

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a production environment, poultry preferred.
  • Knowledge of USDA, HACCP, GMP, SSOP SQF
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with one-year related food plant experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as HACCP plans, SSOP, GMP manuals and safety rules.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common numbers, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word processing software.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise activities of the quality assurance technicians.
  • Interact with USDA personnel and customers as directed by senior management.
  • Help plan, organize, and implement HACCP protocol testing.
  • Responsible for meeting government, customer and company requirements and the reporting of significant events in a timely manner to management.
  • Helps plan and prepare for plant audits.
  • Reports activities as needed to production and maintenance personnel.
  • Responsible for all directives brought forth by senior management
