As a Quality Assurance Specialist within PNC's Technology organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Phoenix AZ or Dallas TX. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Participates in the quality assurance process; follows procedures to ensure that all software products and components meet company standards and client requirements. Performs code inspections, walk-throughs, design, and test-readiness reviews. Reviews software and project documentation for completeness and adherence to standards. Works on problem resolutions and reports progress to management. Plans, executes, and summarizes reliability and validation test cases; interfaces with developers on test results. Assists in audits and reviews. Writes and executes test plans and cases for testing of software. Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5+ years (preferred) in software quality assurance.
  • Process & Tools: Jira, Agile methodologies; strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Communication & Documentation: Must be able to communicate across technical and non-technical channels – both spoken and in writing.
  • Adaptability: Ideal candidate will keep pace with changing technology standards

Nice To Haves

  • Workday: Experience testing Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors) and business end-to-end processes.
  • ETL: General knowledge of ETL testing requirements.
  • Knowledge of Oracle (SQL, performance tuning) for downstream HR/Payroll data stores.
  • Mainframe & JCL: Practical experience testing JCL jobs and mainframe batch processing.
  • Experience with vendor HR systems (benefits, payroll, timekeeping) and HR data standards.
