Quality Assurance Specialist
About The Position
Essential Job Duties: Responsible for reviewing, documenting, and updating quality assurance procedures, standards, and technical documentation. Responsible for performing inspections and audits to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Responsible for working with business partners, product managers, technicians, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality. Responsible for providing process training to internal teams as applicable Works directly with internal and external sources as applicable Responsible for intense focus on ensuring accuracy and catching minor errors. Responsible for communicating with internal and external customers as necessary Responsible for maintaining production and quality activities Responsible for support of departmental administrative activities as assigned Responsible for performing special projects and other miscellaneous duties as requested by management Reporting Relationships: Reports to CCC Director and/ or Supervisor Provides directions to Configuration Center technicians and temporary labor Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in quality control. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, ability to work in a team environment and be open to change Must be extremely detail oriented and accurate Must have the ability to understand basic English Physical Requirements: Sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods of time An essential function for this position, based on business necessity, is that the employee must be physically in attendance at his/ her workstation at the designated company office location during the normal business hours designated for the position Safety Requirements: Demonstrates awareness and commitment to safe work practices Follows safety policies and procedures in performing duties Demonstrates responsibility for personal safety and that of others If required to operate equipment, does so in a safe manner and according with policies and procedures Promptly reports any defective equipment and unsafe working conditions Recognizes and addresses unsafe working conditions or practices Applies safe working practices in daily job duties ScanSource, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer EOE/M/F
Requirements
