About The Position

The Quality Representative performs final inspection and verification of SCI’s calibration and cleanroom administrative outputs. This role ensures measurement accuracy, documentation completeness, and compliance with technical and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Final Inspection & Verification Perform final inspections for cleanroom and calibration laboratory outputs. Verify measurement accuracy and completeness of inspection results prior to release. Ensure inspection activities comply with applicable technical, customer, and quality requirements. Documentation & Records Control Ensure calibration records, certificates, and related documentation meet established quality standards. Verify accuracy, completeness, and traceability of inspection and calibration records. Provide inspection records and objective evidence to support audits and reviews. Nonconformance Identification & Support Identify, document, and report nonconformances. Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action activities as needed. Support continuous improvement by communicating inspection findings and trends. Audit & Compliance Support Support internal and external audit activities by providing inspection evidence and documentation. Ensure inspection activities support compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and customer requirements. Inspection Area & Equipment Readiness Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection and verification areas. Ensure inspection equipment is available, functional, and ready for use. Additional roles and responsibilities Consult with Clean Lab Manager, Lab Technical Manager, and Director of Quality for continuous process improvement initiatives. May perform other calibration laboratory related activities, as directed. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with the Quality Representative II, Quality Program Manager – Services, and Quality Department to drive inspection and process improvements. Communicate inspection issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to appropriate quality personnel. Requirements Preferred Qualifications / Training Requirements: Military PMEL/TMDE certification or associate degree in applied science or engineering. Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in calibration or quality inspection roles. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and measurement uncertainty preferred. Additional Skills: Proficiency in precision measurement and inspection techniques. Strong documentation and technical data review skills. Ability to identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Requirements

  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in calibration or quality inspection roles.
  • Proficiency in precision measurement and inspection techniques.
