Requirements

  • Bacherlor’s Degree and/or High school diploma required with equivalent work experience
  • At minimum 1-2 years of Quality Assurance experience
  • Blueprint reading
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001/13485 Certification
  • Understands and adheres to internal and customer part quality requirements, SOP’s and other specifications and procedures used to define the product.
  • Understands basic blueprint reading, interpretation standards and measurement procedures.
  • Reliably and consistently detects small scratches, burrs, nicks and surface finish deviations, often only visible under magnification.
  • Assists in maintaining the calibration and traceability of gages and other inspection equipment under the direction of a Quality Engineer.
  • Maintains inventory of same.

Responsibilities

  • Acts on behalf of the customer to audit and maintain the accuracy and timely delivery of products.
  • Sees to it that Final Inspections are done in a thorough manner and in accordance with shipping requirements and production scheduling.
  • Leads by example in all activities that relate to Quality Assurance and its effective implementation.
  • Monitors part quality ensuring that operators conform to production & processing standards.
