About The Position

Participating in establishing quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance Specifying functional and non-functional requirements Assisting in establishing quantitative measurements and techniques for measuring hardware quality Establishing test standards and methods and conducting hardware testing Reviewing and evaluating products and services for adherence to government directives, standards, and guidelines concerning quality assurance #LI-LL1

Requirements

• Minimum of five or more years work related experience
• First Article Inspection experience and technical professional disciplines requiring use of related concepts, practices, and methods
• Expert-level Surface Mount Technology (SMT) touch-up and rework skills, including the ability to perform complex soldering on standard-difficulty assemblies
• The primary or most necessary skills required for this job are analytical skills
• Other important skills include verbal and written communication skills and computer skills
• SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Nice To Haves

• Advanced proficiency in performing and documenting FAIs to ensure the first production run meets all design specifications and AS9102 standards
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis on hardware failures and use data-driven insights to establish quantitative quality measurements
• Proficiency in designing test standards and conducting physical hardware testing using tools
• Experience reviewing products for strict adherence to government directives, safety guidelines, and industry-specific standards
• High proficiency in drafting lifecycle documentation, including test plans, maintenance methods, and quality manuals
• Strong verbal and written skills for presenting complex quality findings to engineering teams and establishing company-wide development methods
• Ability to work across departments to specify development methods that align with both hardware quality and production speed
