About The Position

IPS is the largest co-packer in the UK, working with some of the best-known food brands to provide cost-effective and innovative co-packing, co-filling and co-manufacturing solutions. We are now currently recruiting for Quality Assurance Operatives on a Full Time basis at our IPS ST Helens site. Shift: Monday-Friday 06:00am-14:00pm & 14:00pm-22:00pm rotating with some evenings as and when required. Salary: £27,768 per annum. Your Job duties will include, but not limited to the following:

Requirements

Experienced within Quality Assurance.
Good Level of English
Good Level of Maths
Experience of working in a fast paced environment
Experience working in Quality
Knowledge of Health & Safety obligations
HACCP awareness / knowledge
Excellent communication and organisation skills

Responsibilities

To be responsible for the day to day quality audit checks on production lines.
To be responsible for issuing of technical documentation.
To be responsible for various product quality checks as required.
To be responsible for the collation and archiving of quality documentation.
To be responsible for the collation and recording of retained samples as per policy requirements.
To be responsible for the completion of routine technical audits, including environmental swabbing, glass and plastics, weekly scales validation etc.
To assist into the investigation of NCR’s and capture the relevant information.
To be responsible for the positive release of materials as and when required.
To attend departmental meetings as required.
To undertake any other duty commensurate with this role.
Provide good communication and support levels at all times
