About The Position

Join our high performing Working with Children (WWCC) Directorate, a dedicated team who play a key role in keeping children and young people safe.
6 month temporary role, with possible opportunity for extension located at Strawberry Hills with flexible working arrangements.
Clerk Grade 9/10 - $129,464 - $142,665 per annum (plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading).

About the role
The Quality Assurance Officer leads quality assurance activities and projects which deliver service and efficiency improvements for WWCC operations. The role develops and produces management reports, and provides high quality, timely advice to the Director and senior managers. Assumes a key role in the Branch’s senior management team and actively contributes to business planning and direction, and the development systems, controls and performance standards.

Requirements

• All roles within the OCG are required to have a current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Employment at the OCG is subject to the satisfactory completion of security and vetting checks.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and analyses area for improvement relating to business systems, processes, workflows, and customer service, and the implications of implementing system change.
• Develops and updates training manuals, procedures and business processes, including consultation, piloting, implementation, monitoring and review activities to ensure business activities are efficient and effective in delivering the desired outcomes of the business unit.
