Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field from an accredited college
  • Broad knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and methodologies of Human Services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply logic and critical thinking for problem-solving
  • Experience in child and family welfare
  • Reliable with time-sensitive deadlines and tasks
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Able to work well under pressure and adapt to change
  • Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage
  • Must pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
  • Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity

Responsibilities

  • Oversee child welfare contracts within the respective branch location(s)
  • Collaborate with DHHS partners to provide data and analysis as needed
  • Review case files, documentation, and service activities to ensure adherence to agency policies, state regulations, and contractual performance measures
  • Analyze trends, generate reports, and facilitate CQI meetings to recommend strategies for improving outcomes and addressing systemic challenges
  • Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to Foster Care, Licensing, and State Adoption
  • Perform regular quality reviews of case records to assess service delivery, identify risks, and verify data accuracy and completeness
  • Work closely with directors and supervisors to develop and implement corrective action plans, training needs, and workflow improvements based on QA findings
  • Oversee data entry and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports to funders, accreditation bodies, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff on documentation practices, case compliance, and quality expectations to promote consistency and accountability
  • Oversee the distribution and analysis of satisfaction surveys from clients, caregivers, and stakeholders to inform service improvements and measure impact
  • Attend trainings and meetings as assigned by the supervisor
  • Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department
  • May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany-sponsored event
  • Complete other duties as assigned
