Position Summary: Leads and provides strategic direction for IPP Quality Assurance Program. Responsibilities: Abide by IPPs safety and Health Policies and Procedures including wearing proper PPE and maintaining a safe work environment. Understand the Mission Statement. Ensures full compliance of Regulatory Agency requirements for raw materials, components and finished goods manufactured in the facility. Handles Product Disposition, Master Batch Records, SOPs, Annual Product Reviews, vendor audit program, QA oversight for external vendors as well as at the plant. Ensures that all Quality Assurance aspects are performed within budget, regulatory guidelines and within established time lines. Acts as chief proponent of quality product and practice in the organization. Establishes clear quality guidelines for internal and external production and processes. Cooperates with approval agencies to continue process of improvement and approvals of company's products. Confirms that plant audit procedures are properly carried out and assigned work schedules are maintained. Determines overall plant product quality by conducting and evaluating various finished product and raw material tests. Resolves major quality problems as required. Organizes and updates plant Quality Manual as appropriate. Consults with plant management and personnel on better operational procedures to improve overall efficiency and product yields. Other duties as required. Represent company at industry committee meetings.
