About The Position

Come join a growing financial technology company that’s leading the marketplace in both the marketing and servicing of credit cards! Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to support our Operations team. Continental Finance Company interns get real-life exposure to the daily duties of the department. They spend the summer as a valued member of their respective team, learning business skills and assisting with a variety of projects that have an impact on the business operations. An additional focus of the program will be to complete a final project that will be an overview of activities, tasks and experiences throughout the 10-week program.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in and working toward an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Available to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week summer program: June 2nd – August 6th, 2026
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of quality assurance, process improvement, or auditing concepts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to analyze data, document findings, and follow defined procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn

  • Interest in financial services, operations, or compliance preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support process- and audit-focused quality assurance initiatives within the Operations team
  • Conduct quality audits using established QA checklists and defined procedures
  • Document audit findings, exceptions, and control gaps with a high level of accuracy and detail
  • Maintain exception logs and assist with trend analysis to identify recurring issues and process risks
  • Support root-cause analysis efforts and assist in developing recommended corrective actions
  • Assist with maintaining and updating standard operating procedures, control documentation, and audit logs
  • Participate in internal audits and assist with testing process changes
  • Support risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives across operations
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and other reporting platforms to track and analyze QA results
