Position Summary TekniPlex is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities at our Madison, WI facility. This internship provides hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and exposure to quality systems, inspections, documentation, and problem-solving tools used in the packaging industry.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of quality concepts (inspection, nonconformance, documentation) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data analysis or statistical tools
  • Interest in manufacturing, packaging, or materials science

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day quality assurance activities on the manufacturing floor
  • Support incoming, in-process, and final product inspections
  • Help maintain and update quality documentation, records, and logs
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting of quality metrics
  • Support internal audits and preparation for customer or regulatory audits
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality team members on continuous improvement projects
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company policies
