About The Position
We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in the stamping industry to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Prior experience in metal stamping or related manufacturing processes
- Strong understanding of PPAP , dimensional verification , and quality core tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 standards is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct dimensional layouts and inspections of stamped components
- Manage and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and submissions
- Assist with inventory control and stock audits
- Participate in training initiatives for new hires and team members
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
- Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure compliance with customer specifications
