Position Summary INSPECTS ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, ASSEMBLIES, SUB ASSEMBLIES, COMPONENTS AND PARTS FOR DEFECTS AND CONFORMANCE TO SPECIFICATION.

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Basic understanding of Quality Standards (ISO/TS16949).
  • IPC 610 Certification or ability to achieve within 6 months.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process flow charts, and board layouts.
  • Problem resolution skills and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to use various measuring instruments effectively.
  • Ability to analyze and organize information into easily understood instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to learn new skills and new technology.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade/Technical School degree desired.
  • 3yrs or more experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe.

Responsibilities

  • Examines outgoing units for physical defects and non-conformance to specification
  • Reject faulty assembly, part, or component and records type and quantity of defects
  • Records inspection data such as type, and percent of defects, and rework required. Calculates percentage of defective parts
  • Prepares and submits DMR documentation
  • Works with Suppliers/Customers to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Provide assistance to Production floor as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
