About The Position

We are hiring a QA inspector for our client in metal manufacturing. QA inspector will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, and recording the results.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role
• Strong communication, problem-solving ability, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Metal fabrication experience
• Experience with ISO 9000 standards and procedures
• 1 to 3 year of experience with Statistical Process Control

Responsibilities

• Work experience in working with hand tools, and precise measuring instruments such as vernier calliper, dial gauge, micrometre, ultrasound thickness gage, etc.
• Inspect in-process products for conformity to blueprints.
• Inspect finished product to Customer requirements.
• Must be able to read and interpret CMM reports.
• Maintain measuring equipment to calibration standards.
• Perform Audits for compliance to ISO Procedures.
• Work with production to resolve nonconformance issues.
• Update and maintain Quality procedures and records.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.
