About The Position

The Quality Assurance Inspector performs receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet aerospace and customer specifications. This position supports production by identifying defects, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate inspection records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of inspection experience in aerospace, metal finishing, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and follow customer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AS9100 or NADCAP environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Inspect parts before and after chemical processing (anodize, chem film, plating, etc.).
• Verify part counts, job travelers, and customer paperwork.
• Identify surface defects such as pitting, corrosion, scratches, or handling damage.
• Document inspection results and complete required logs.
• Assist with first article inspections and internal audits.
• Collaborate with production leads to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe inspection area.
