About The Position

In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the Quality Assurance Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring quality is a priority each and every time, while also achieving deadlines and customer satisfaction. A general knowledge of Plastic Injection Molding, process and part terminology, and sampling plans is required. This will be a rotating (4) 10-hour shifts from 2:00PM - 12:30AM.

Requirements

Ability to work (4) 10-hour shifts from 2:00PM - 12:30AM
Employees must be able to properly use mic’s and inspection equipment.
Understand programming.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Data entry and some basic statistical / math knowledge
Must have Plastic Injection Molding Operation and Inspection experience
Must pass vision and color tests
Experience using measuring tools
Able to read blue prints
A general knowledge of ISO 9001 is needed, must comply with Company ISO policies and procedures
Must have high school or trade school diploma or minimum of five years in the trade or suitable equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Inventory Control is a plus
Ability to work un-supervised and well with others – in a team environment. Must be able to train others on quality criteria and gauging techniques

Responsibilities

Visual inspection, in process inspection, final inspection audits, perform dimensional analysis, First Article Inspection
Inspect molded parts for defects
Types of measuring equipment at a minimum: Calipers, Indicators, Micrometers, Go/no go, Comparators and Microscope (Software aided) knowledge a plus
Scanning documents to correct work orders
Read blueprints to ensure work orders are correct
Read and understand engineering drawings, part specifications and quality standards
Record inspection data accurately in quality logs or electronic systems
Prepare detailed reports on non-conformance and corrective actions
Report on any equipment malfunctions
Provide feedback to operators and supervisors regarding quality concerns
Label and document acceptable finished goods
