About The Position

Build a career ensuring world‑class quality in Tooele, Utah Minova is expanding in Tooele, UT, and we’re seeking a Quality Assurance Inspection Technologist to keep our products aligned with exacting standards at a global manufacturer committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This is a direct-hire role on 1st shift with competitive pay, full benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match. A day in the life You arrive to a clean, modern facility and start by reviewing overnight production results. You verify that gauges and scales due for calibration are scheduled, then head to the floor to conduct routine tests and inspections per applicable standards. You partner with production leads to confirm quality requirements, capture results in accurate documentation, and analyze trends in the data. When a customer complaint or nonconformance surfaces, you help drive the investigation and corrective actions. Throughout the day, you support our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System—assisting with internal audits, maintaining records, and reinforcing conformance to internal specifications and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience in a quality, lab, or manufacturing setting (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of quality control processes, testing methods, and documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to follow procedures, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Comfort with data and written reports.
  • Team mindset with clear communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality testing and inspections per applicable standards.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
  • Assist with internal quality audits and ensure conformance to quality and performance standards.
  • Complete precise quality documentation, test results, and formal reports.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support investigations of customer complaints and assist with corrective actions.
  • Coordinate calibration of gauges, scales, and testing equipment at scheduled intervals.
  • Partner with production teams so quality requirements are understood and met.
  • Identify ways to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
