About The Position

This position, coordinates the activities required to support all facets of Customer Concern tracking, root cause and corrective action documentation, and the document control system in the Quality department. This position will also assist in the the internal audit process and provide support to production with first piece inspection.

Requirements

• Required HSD/GED or related experience in a Quality role.
• 2-5 years experience in a fastener or metal manufacturing industry, a plus.
• Proficiency with gages, a variety of measuring equipment and testing equipment. For example: micrometers, tri-roll gages and optical comparators.
• Proficient in reading production drawings and customer prints.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001, IATF 16949 requirements, customer requirements, and TQM principals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• 2-5 years experience in a fastener or metal manufacturing industry, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Customer Concern and Outside Sort Tracking Logs
• Provide initial response to customers for new Customer Concerns
• Timely and accurate data entry into Customer Concern tracking software.
• Coordinate and verify customer returned goods.
• Send corrective action reports to customers.
• Provide certifications to the customer when requested.
• Participate in internal audit programs, to help maintain company certifications.
• Assist in other Quality related tasks as needed, for example: perform QC Technician duties as needed.
