About The Position

Advanced Houston Specialty Hospital is looking for full-time Administrative/Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team of health care professionals in a newly renovated facility at 205 Hollow Tree Lane, Spring, TX. Join our team and help us provide top-tier medical services to a justice involved population! Compensation starting at $45.00+ DOE

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact state required.
  • Required certification and licensure as follows: Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
  • Minimum of one (1) year quality assurance experience or three (3) years charge nurse experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
  • Must successfully complete annual new hire and in-service training requirements and pass an annual background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and targeted audits to assess compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, correctional standards, and organizational policies.
  • Review clinical and operational processes to ensure safe and effective care delivery to an incarcerated patient population.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders to verify information, resolve concerns, and address compliance‑related issues.

  • Interpret policies, procedures, and regulatory standards for staff and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Evaluate clinical programs and service delivery processes; recommend performance improvement strategies to leadership.

  • Prepare complex analytical, narrative, and statistical reports related to quality, compliance, incidents, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Support hospital readiness for federal and state inspections, accreditation surveys, and internal/external audits.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism among staff.
  • Maintain accountability for staff, patients, and hospital property; adhere to all security and safety protocols applicable to a correctional healthcare environment.
  • It is expected the incumbent will work overtime when directed to do so.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
  • It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
