About The Position

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst II at Kenco Logistics will be responsible for the testing of processes, developing software test plans, and validating database integrity after each test. Requirements

BS in computer science or related field.
3-5 years of proven software testing experience.
3-5 years of UI / API and Backend/database testing experience and should be able to write SQL to analyze data.
1-2 years of automated script development experience.
Strong experience with the Waterfall software development methodology and testing framework.
Experience in creating and executing SQL queries preferably in Microsoft SQL server.
WMS and TMS domain knowledge.
Supply chain experience with warehouse and transportation management systems.
Experience with FDA validation requirements.
Experience in automation framework development.

Responsibilities

Perform processes related to quality assurance testing for new software systems and applications.
Identify and review activities and deliverables critical to project quality.
Develop and document software test plans and test cases as required.
Work with product managers and business analysts to understand requirements for system changes.
Assist in establishing formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Assist in establishing metrics and developing new tools and processes to ensure software quality goals are met.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
Execution of tests and verification of results.
Validate database integrity after each test.
Log and track defects, working directly with developers to ensure appropriate follow-through and defect resolution.
Work with the Quality Assurance Manager to create strategy/roadmaps for QA.
