Location: U.S. Remote Position Overview Quality Analyst is responsible for administering the customer feedback process including interfacing with customers, issuing cases, and follow up by interacting with the different departments to ensure closure of cases. The Quality Analyst will also aid in the creation of standardized forms, work instructions, SOP’s, and other process associated documents. Provide support in various customer audits included ISO. Other duties assigned by the Manager, Customer Quality. Areas of Focus Quality Analyst administrates all facets of the Salesforce or other customer feedback process. Document, monitor, and reporting on global customer feed back. Create, review, and update documents as needed to support customer quality, and other duties assigned by the Manager, Customer Quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; three years’ relevant experience in quality and manufacturing preferably in an ISO environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Word, Excel, and Database.
  • Must have Proficiency in MS Excel with ability to perform basic analysis of data and create charts.
  • 3+ years experience with customer/technical support
  • Must have attention to detail and report accurate data
  • Must be outgoing in personality with strong relationship skills for customers, colleagues and senior management personnel
  • High standard of business and personal ethics

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and/or a science discipline preferred
  • 6 Sigma Green Belt or experience in quality/manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience with stationary battery applications such as Telecom, UPS or Substation DC systems

Responsibilities

  • Administer customer feedback process for all plants; issue, review, and report on cases.
  • Champion all facets of the Customer Feedback process including interfacing with customers to collect information on feed back as well as providing results back to customers
  • Determine when batteries reported as defective should be returned to a lab facility for RCCA analysis
  • Provides authorization to customers to return products for analysis along with instructions for packing and shipment of return batteries
  • Follow-up on RMA cases to ensure timely delivery to the lab and analysis of returned product
  • Update documents as they pertain to any process utilized by the Customer Quality Team
  • Provide required documentation for Quality Team meetings, customer meetings, and Management Review meeting
  • Follow quality system procedures
  • Must be able to work safely
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter; must be able to work with minimum supervision
