Specializing in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence, Ontic has over 1,500 customers in the commercial, civil and defense aerospace markets. Our team is looking for a Quality Administrator I to join them. This position is responsible for coordinating the data entry activities for Quality Management Systems in the Quality Department. This position will monitor daily activities and assist with the development of improvement ideas to meet the company’s business objectives. This position is responsible for entering clear and accurate data into computer systems, maintaining filing systems, creating professional documents, presentations and ensuring all outgoing communication adheres to Ontic templates and standards. Other responsibilities include working effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listen to and objectively consider ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetable and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical solutions; addressing others by name, title or respectful identifier; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds; following written procedures and giving quality service to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Speak, read and write English, and spell accurately
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of MS office products
  • Courteous, respectful, and willing to learn
  • Previous data entry experience
  • Accuracy, neatness and promptness of work
  • Create and update Quality System metrics
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Have good customer service skills
  • This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person ” as defined by 22. C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.

Nice To Haves

  • Quality Assurance Experience desired
  • Knowledge of Aerospace regulatory requirements, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Administrative assistant activities, including multi-tasking, accurate data entry transactions, and coordinating activities.
  • Maintenance of various Quality Management System documents and Corrective Action database
  • Responding to customer surveys
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Other clerical duties and special projects for the department and/or other departments as required.
