Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s preferred
  • 1-2 years experience working with youth who have developmental or cognitive delays
  • Must complete Autism Certification within first six months of employment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage
  • Training and Travel willingness
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
  • Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)

  • Bachelor’s preferred

Responsibilities

  • Utilize assessment tools and social history to identify the unique needs of the individual
  • Plan, Lead and Execute daily treatment groups
  • Utilize Trauma Informed Care approach and techniques in service delivery
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and timely when entered into the electronic health record
  • Navigate the electronic health record to gather information needed to best serve individuals
  • Assist individuals with skill development and activities based on level of functioning
  • Collaborate with various program leaders to ensure continuity of care
  • Develop group activities in accordance with the treatment needs identified in the Individual Service Plan.
  • Ensure compliance of certification and program requirements through ongoing training and development
