About The Position

EPIC Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and motivated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP or QMHP-T) to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centered services to children, adolescents, and adults in both in-home and community-based settings. The QMHP plays a vital role in promoting recovery, independence, and wellness through therapeutic interventions, skill-building, crisis support, and education—all under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional.

Requirements

• Registered as a QMHP or QMHP-T with the VA Board of Counseling.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Human Services-related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling).
• At least 1 year of behavioral health experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services, including Mental Health Skill-Building, Crisis Support, or Intensive In-Home (IIH).
• Deliver person-centered care in homes and community settings.
• Qualified Mental Health Professionals are required to use their personal vehicles for visits and for engaging in community activities.
• Conduct assessments, write service plans, and maintain timely documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, and support systems to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist individuals with de-escalation techniques and provide mental health education.
• Participate in required training and team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, MCO, and EPIC Health Partners policies.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
