Flexible hours, 3-5 days/week Non-Exempt Compensation: $20.00/hour paid weekly Supervisory Responsibilities: None Position Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Quality, Compliance and Risk Department. This internship will offer an understanding of how to develop and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives; promote healthcare compliance; and balance risk mitigation strategies. As an integrated health organization Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s level program in Business or related degree at a NJ Institute of Higher Learning
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating and editing policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry best practices
• Assist in enhancing agency-wide trainings
• Support agency performance improvement efforts
• Support the design and implementation of an innovative process to improve efficiency within the Quality, Compliance & Risk Department
• Assist with other projects as needed
