About The Position
Smoker Craft, Inc currently has an opening for QA PDI! This position works from our plant in New Paris, IN. This position ensures our products (Pontoon / Fiberglass / Aluminum boats) are in working order; meeting quality and safety standards and free from defects before being shipped to a customer. Shift Schedule is 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Requirements
- Previous Marine Mechanic Schooling/Experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a team toward one common goal
- High level of initiative and demonstrated use of proactive problem solving
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics/Troubleshooting
- Electrical
- Inspections
- On water testing
- Experience with trailering boats; loading/unloading
- Ability to confidently drive boats
- Repair/Replace equipment
