About The Position

The PDI Apprentice Technician is a position in training. The position will learn how to inspect and prepare newly acquired vehicles to be front-line ready. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Nice To Haves

ASE and OEM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect all lubrication levels and add proper lubrication, as required.
Inspect all new vehicles for obvious damages and missing components.
Replace defective items according to specifications.
Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper operation of brakes, transmission and engine operation.
Activate power equipment such as electric windows, seats, radio, horn, lights, and directional signals to ensure specified operating standards.
Able to touch up any minor chips and scratches on paint.
Install optional equipment specified, such as outside mirrors, rugs, and seat covers.
Install or replace standard components, such as hubcaps and wiper blades.
