Python Developer / Engineer (US)
About The Position
The Python Developer/ Engineer develops and maintains technical solutions that adhere to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements. This role provides technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security, including planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards. The position requires advanced knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues, TD applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business/organization, and Bank standards. The successful candidate will work independently with minimal guidance, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource for colleagues with less experience, solve complex problems, and take a new perspective on existing solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Graduate degree
- Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
- 5-7 years relevant experience
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of experience with Python, Node.js, Express.js, React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with SQL/No SQL database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration
- Experience with Testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
- Experience with Version control systems (Git)
