About The Position

We're seeking a strategic financial analyst who will transform data into
insights that drive Amazon Prime Video's international growth. In this pivotal
role, you'll craft compelling financial narratives that shape critical business
decisions and illuminate the path forward for our global entertainment platform.

Your day will be a dynamic blend of financial analysis, strategic collaboration,
and innovative problem-solving. You'll dive deep into complex financial
landscapes, translating intricate data into clear, actionable insights that
empower our leadership team to make informed decisions.

We are a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team dedicated to supporting
Prime Video's global expansion. Our work directly impacts how millions of
customers experience entertainment worldwide, creating meaningful connections
through storytelling and technology.

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• 4+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial partner for Prime Video International, delivering comprehensive financial insights and support
• Develop sophisticated, data-driven financial analyses that illuminate business performance and strategic opportunities
• Consolidate and articulate financial performance across diverse international teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and technological innovations
• Lead comprehensive financial analysis and support strategic initiatives with precision and creativity
