Let’s talk about you- as a Kitchen Magic Purchasing Assistant! We’re looking for a team-oriented and passionate individual to join our growing Purchasing team. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will help grow and maintain Kitchen Magic’s Purchasing Department. Tasks include but are not limited to: Compare sales contracts to blueprints submitted by draftsman to assure proper items/parts/materials are requested to fulfill the kitchen remodeling project. Order parts/items/materials from both outside vendors and internal manufacturing. Review and verify all vendor quotes on materials ordered to ensure accurate costs. Reach out to vendors to rectify as needed Resolve any errors in materials receipt and replacement of damaged or missing parts/items Release orders with specific vendors as necessary to ensure timely receipt of materials for project installations Assist sales review in reviewing and processing agreements/cancellations. Follow up with sales reps, as needed, on any agreements that require clarification or adjustment. Schedule drafting appointments with customers Other job responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of office experience required, purchasing experience preferred
  • Must be able to work in an office environment, sit for up to 8 hours per day, and stand or walk for short periods of time as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs occasionally.
  • Understanding of basic purchasing and receiving practice
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and work with a variety of software systems
  • Detail oriented and able to enter data accurately
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Problem solving and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and understanding of kitchen/bath remodeling industry is a plus
