About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Pricing Assistant to support our office operations. This role will primarily assist with updating product pricing in our system based on vendor price lists and creating purchase orders once customer orders are placed. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working with product data and vendors in a fast-paced office environment.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic understanding of purchasing, inventory, or administrative processes (preferred but not required)
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and computer systems
  • Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently after training

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with purchasing, pricing, inventory, or administrative support
  • Familiarity with systems such as QuickBooks is a plus
  • Previous office or operations support experience

Responsibilities

  • Update product pricing in the system using vendor price lists and cost updates
  • Verify pricing accuracy and maintain up-to-date product records
  • Create and process purchase orders based on customer sales orders
  • Communicate with vendors as needed regarding pricing, availability, and order details
  • Assist the primary purchasing/pricing coordinator with daily administrative tasks
  • Organize and maintain digital files related to pricing, vendors, and purchase orders
  • Flag discrepancies, missing information, or pricing issues for review
