About The Position

The Purchasing & Maintenance Facilities Assistant will assist with facilities needs across our offices. This role combines light facilities/handyman tasks with courier responsibilities, supporting our team with efficient, courteous service. Duties include: Make courier runs between office locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery of supplies and equipment. Perform basic handyman and facilities tasks, including minor repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep. Support office operations such as stocking supplies, setting up work spaces, and assisting with other projects as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in shared spaces. Work independently to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Able to troubleshoot issues. Interact with team members in a professional and friendly manner, providing responsive and courteous support. Normally works less than 24 hours per week. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Professionalism; Good communication skills
  • Minimum of two years’ previous facilities or similar experience
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and daily priorities
  • General handyman skills and comfort with light maintenance tasks
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 30–50 lbs as needed (office supplies, small equipment, boxes, etc.).
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
  • Capability to safely climb small ladders or step stools for basic maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors when required (e.g., moving items, maintenance).

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC repairs.
