Mainstream Engineering is seeking a responsible individual to handle activities relating to the tracking of open purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries. Typical duties include: Supplier Communication: Sending regular emails to vendors requesting updates, specifically asking for the latest status, estimated dispatch dates, and confirmation of receipt Proactive Monitoring: Reviewing outstanding orders (on a daily and weekly basis) to prevent shortages and provide updates to Production and R&D Managing Delays: Identifying, communicating, and managing risks associated with delays, requesting revised timelines from suppliers Updating Systems: Ensuring the ERP or PO system reflects accurate information Systematizing the Process: Using automated reporting to reduce manual "chasing" and improve efficiency Tracking: Track shipments and monitor delivery schedules
