About The Position

The Purchasing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting operations by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and materials. This position partners closely with technicians, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain efficient workflows and accurate inventory handling.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years' experience in a similar purchasing role
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Demonstrated computer proficiency, including experience with general office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers, management, and suppliers

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree or better in related area of study is preferred
• Basic understanding of electronic components is preferred
• Basic understanding of motor components is preferred

Responsibilities

• Procure parts and materials in a timely manner based on technician needs
• Source products at the most competitive price while maintaining quality standards
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, orders, shipments, and invoices
• Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming parts to appropriate team members
• Evaluate and price miscellaneous electronic components for the electronics department
• Evaluate and price miscellaneous motor components for the motor department
• Maintain organized records and complete filing as needed
• Order and manage office supply inventory
• Provide backup support for hydraulic purchasing activities as needed
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
