Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant supply chain, procurement, administrative experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with BI tools and ERP system
  • Excellent communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FAR and DFARS requirements a plus
  • Experience in a defense and/or government contracting environment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Track open purchase orders and actively follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Communicate changes in schedules, delays, and risks to buyers, planners, and operations
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP systems, updating delivery dates, quantities, and status notes
  • Assist buyers with issuing POs, RFQs, and documentation as needed
  • Escalate critical shortages and expedite materials to support production demands
  • Coordinate with receiving, quality, planning, and engineering to resolve delivery issues
  • Help prevent bottlenecks through diligent monitoring of supplier performance and commitments
  • Provide visibility to the organization through clear reporting and status updates
  • Support Compliance through documentation and reporting
  • Help coordinate a world-class supply chain that supports our national defense
