About The Position

The Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls is looking for their next Purchasing Clerk. Overlooking the river, Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls is in The Steel District next to historic Falls Park and Levitt Outdoor Amphitheater. Take a complimentary Canopy Bike to explore attractions, museums, and eateries within five minutes. The hotel offers nearly 20,000 sq. ft. of event space in downtown Sioux Falls, on-site dining, a coffee shop, and a fitness center. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and communicative individual that brings at least (2) years of admin experience. Shift Pattern: Mornings, shifts start at 6:30am What will I be doing? As Purchasing Clerk, you would be responsible for purchasing materials for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

Purchase materials for the hotel through approved vendors
Establish, manage and maintain supply levels for the hotel
Purchase maintenance and repair supplies for hotel
Adhere to established procedures and policies in purchases
Research prices and supplies of non-mandated items
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations regarding storage, safety and sanitation
