Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong technology aptitude, including proficiency with report-generation and MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Strengths in attention to detail, problem solving, analyzing data

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Purchasing team by running and analyzing reports related to inventory, sales, clearances, and vendor promotions
  • Helping to ensure proper inventory levels at our 10 brick-and-mortar store, Distribution Center, and eCommerce store by generating inventory reports, out-of-stock items, and dead inventory
  • Tracking promotions such as free good with purchase, BOGOs, and other promo pricing
  • Keeping an updated report of missing purchase orders
  • Making adjustments within inventory management in ERP system
  • Keeping an updated list of store transfers and vendor returns
  • Helping to gather sales, pricing, and other data for vendors
  • Assist in setting up new items and maintaining current items within inventory tracking system
  • Routine emailing, report generating, filing, faxing, and organization of purchasing digital file and paperwork
  • Communicating with Purchasing Manager, Buyers, and Associate Buyers to ensure success of the department and profitability of our operations
  • Other related tasks as assigned
