About The Position

We are a growing precision manufacturing team producing high-quality round cutting tools for customers across various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Pulling/Marking & Cleaning Line Operator to join our team. The Pulling/Marking Operator & Cleaning Line is responsible for operating all machinery related to marking and the cleaning line. This role requires strong attention to detail, perform machine maintenance, and follow/complete necessary production paperwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic mathematical skills
• Critical thinking and Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) skills
• Job-specific tooling knowledge
• Ability to use hand trucks and material-handling equipment
• Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, and related accessories

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Career and Technical Education (CTE) coursework
• Algebra, geometry, trigonometry skills

Responsibilities

• Operate all machinery related to marking (etching) and cleaning lines according to established specifications and controls
• Read and follow production schedules, work orders, routings, and sequences
• Handle materials, including dispatching required blanks and materials to manufacturing orders
• Monitor machine operations by observing movement of parts, gauges, dials, and machine sounds to identify potential issues
• Troubleshoot equipment and make adjustments to resolve setup or operational problems
• Interpret drawings and item attributes to ensure correct processing
• Perform in-process inspections per established inspection requirements and protocols
• Maintain product specifications using appropriate inspection tools and equipment
• Perform routine operator maintenance as required
• Demonstrate proper knowledge and use of required tooling
• Accurately complete all job-related documentation and shop-floor data collection
• Assist with training and mentoring additional employees
• Perform all duties necessary to successfully operate and maintain Cleaning Line(s)
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
