About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Blank Prep/Pulling & Marking Operator to join our team. The Blank Prep/HHS Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining Blank Prep machinery to produce high‑quality tool blanks. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform inspections and follow manufacturing specifications. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to perform inspections and follow manufacturing specifications

Responsibilities

  • Set up and adjust all Blank Prep Machinery to meet all job requirements and specifications.
  • Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and sequences.
  • Assess machine operations; movement of parts, gauges, dials, machine sounds to determine potential equipment failures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make adjustments to resolve set up problems.
  • Interpret drawings, and/or item attributes and follow routings.
  • Perform in-process inspections according to inspection requirements and protocol.
  • Maintain product specifications by utilizing the appropriate inspection equipment as required.
  • Perform routine operator maintenance as required.
  • Proper knowledge and use of all required tooling to complete job duties.
  • Complete all job-related documentation and shop floor data collection accurately.
  • Adhere to all aspects of the Quality Management System.
  • Assist with the training of additional employees.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or other members of Management.
