About The Position

1. Ability to work multiple shifts. Vaccination is 1st shift and moves are 2nd shift. 2. Ability to work in dusty environment subject to inclement weather conditions. 3. Assist with the proper vaccination movement and chick placements of pullets and roosters. 4. Assist hen growers with getting birds on the slats in the evening after movement. 5. Assist with moving males from spike farm and older flocks to younger flocks. 6. Assist with catching and unloading birds with a mechanical loader. 7. Assist service techs with drawing blood from pullets and roosters. 8. Work closely with growers to maintain the safety, care, and maintenance of all pullets and roosters. 9. Assist service techs with water vaccinations on pullet farms. 10. Assist with baiting stations for rodent control on breeder and pullet farms. 11. Must not own any poultry (unless Tyson flock). 12. Must have at least 1-year live poultry experience/vaccination experience 13. Must be capable of bending, squatting, pulling, lifting, prolonged walking, standing, and manual dexterity. 14. Must be able to lift 50 LBS. 15. Must abide by all department safety rules 16. All other job duties as assigned by supervisor. 17. Job will be subject to rotation.   • Must not own any poultry (unless Tyson flock).
  • Must have at least 1-year live poultry experience/vaccination experience
  • Must be capable of bending, squatting, pulling, lifting, prolonged walking, standing, and manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to lift 50 LBS.
  • Must abide by all department safety rules
  • Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days. Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
