About The Position

The Pull Count Staff is responsible for removing and counting revenue from all gaming machines and table games at the Fire Lake Entertainment Center. This role involves accurately counting money and chips, maintaining complete and accurate financial records, logging machine counts, and turning revenue into the Vault. The incumbent must ensure gaming compliance and procedures are followed, provide friendly and courteous customer service, and practice generally accepted accounting principles when required. The position requires effective communication skills to resolve finance-related problems or questions.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic accounting concepts such as debits and credits and terminology.
Knowledge of Tribal accounting policies and practices.
Knowledge of various prescribed accounting and/or vault documents.
Some knowledge in the use of a 10-key calculator.
Knowledge of effective and courteous communication skills.
Knowledge of grammatically correct verbal and writing skills.
Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Knowledge of accounting concepts, techniques, and terminology.
Must have basic math skills and cash handling skills.
Must have very good communication and written skills.
Ability to work any shift, start time, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Responsible for removing or pulling money from gaming machines and chips from the table games.
Responsible for accurate counting of money and chips pulled from gaming machines and table games.
Responsible for keeping a complete and accurate set of financial records.
Responsible for logging machine counts and turning revenue into the Vault.
Maintain gaming compliance and procedures.
Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
Practice generally accepted accounting principles when required.
Ability to communicate with others effectively in working out solutions to problems or questions relating to finance.
