About The Position

Under general supervision, protects employees, patients, visitors, medical staff, physical plant and equipment, controls traffic inside and outside buildings and performs related public safety duties as assigned. Ensures that all policies are enforced. Also, to provide for continued safety and security of the Clinics. Effectively consults with all departments on design and use of safety equipment and security measures. Ensures that the security needs of the clinics are properly addressed and responded to. Identifies potential safety concerns and effectively recommends corrective or preventative measures. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.\ Supports an environment conducive to the development and enhancement of working relationships. Facilitates the department/clinic ability to meet its goal and objectives. Responsive to the needs of the department by accepting additional assignments and/or assisting others to ensure the continuity of services. Effectively uses work time to accomplish assignments within expected time frames. The ability to except or respond to change in a manner that promotes and supports departmental/clinic goals and objectives. Knowledgeable of and follows safety/infection control policies and other procedures to ensure a safe environment for self and others. Addresses potential safety concerns related to equipment and the working environment. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three years of related experience and/or training is preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
  • Employees in certain departments to be fully vaccinated against MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella (Chickenpox), and Influenza
