About The Position

We’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Public Relations Strategist to help shape and protect our brand through thoughtful storytelling, strong media relationships and proactive communications. This role supports day-to-day PR execution while contributing to broader communications strategy across earned media, corporate messaging and brand reputation initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, leadership, and external partners to ensure our voice is consistent, credible and impactful across all channels. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in PR or a related role
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism or similar fields
  • Deeply curious with a constant desire to learn more about our business, products, tools and the industry at large; open to and seeks out coaching and learning opportunities
  • Ability to nurture long-term relationships with journalists, influencers and stakeholders; high emotional intelligence
  • Proven communication and storytelling skills; able to craft narratives to meet overarching business goals
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • A proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic who is positive, collaborative and solution-focused
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Mortgage, Housing industry and/or B2B experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Researching and analyzing industry trends to identify story ideas, fresh angles and relevant thought leadership opportunities for executive leadership
  • Utilizing media monitoring tools to track company and executive mentions
  • Creating and maintaining media lists, identifying new and relevant publications and reporters who would be receptive to telling our stories
  • Developing media materials, including briefing sheets and press releases
  • Crafting compelling narratives for pitches and award nominations
  • Building and maintaining editorial and speaking calendars
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, social, legal and leadership teams to align messaging
  • Support announcements, launches, events and thought-leadership initiatives
  • Support proactive and reactive media outreach, including pitching, interview coordination and follow-ups
