Open communication with 15 commissioners and staff, along with coordinating assignments with department's Administrative Assistants. Preparing (writing and designing) press releases, speeches, letters, resolutions, memoriams, newsletter mailings, e-newsletters, postcards, flyers, brochures, county guides, calendars, etc., upon request. Attending committee meetings along with community events for photo and video opportunities. Communication with printshops and mailhouse to complete printing requests and mailing assignments. Communication with department heads (Commission and Administration). Provide Commission's accounting department with all cost reports: printing, mailing prep and USPS postage. Knowledge of InDesign software for document designs, Word for various documents and Excel for various listings. Communication with media (print, radio, television, digital, bloggers, etc.). Post and update meeting schedules, agendas and commission journals and related material on the commission web page.
