About The Position

Basic Function: To perform fundraising, public relations, graphic design, and administrative duties supporting Easter Seals Greater Houston's Development Department and 13 programs Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate overall communication strategy, including social media, email, website, public relations, and advertising Disseminate information to publications, media and local community concerning all events and program success stories by use of press releases and media alerts including follow up and thank you Calendaring of social and pr event calendars and listings – inc. Houston Calendar of Social Events Cultivate relationships with donors, members of the media, and community partners Primary coordination of donor tracking for website listings Primary coordination of monthly email newsletter, event email campaigns as well as other donor communications Primary responsibility for agency/ event website design, maintenance, continued improvement & GoogleAds Grant Primary responsibility for agency/event graphics and collateral such as event signage & billboards. Primary responsibility program graphics and collateral Primary responsibility for agency/ event social media including FaceBook, Twitter, linkedIn, YouTube and Instagram Primary responsibility for tracking of social media / media recap / end of year reporting to donors Primary responsibility to calendar, implement and recruit for blog program Responsible for ensuring photography, releases and stock photos are licensed/released in accordance with licensure. Responsible for edits, changes and creation of forms, funds, appeals etc through database an on website Supervising any development intern Develop, implement and perform standard administrative duties for the department Full detailed responsibility during all special events as directed by Special Events Manager Serve as a community spokesperson by representing ESGH including United Way agency & other fairs Community referral assistance via socials Develop and maintain social networking following through groups, updates and events Assist in coordination of annual report Assist in developing and implementing marketing tools Development/Program Assist in developing corporate relationships and cultivate other donor opportunities Assist in donor recognition programs Perform duties under limited supervision Perform all other duties as assigned by your Supervisor, Assistant Director, Program Director or Chief Executive Officer Maintain ethical and professional conduct. Conduct should reflect the code of ethics and standards of recognized professional licensing organizations and of ESGH Adhere to all ESGH policies and procedures as reflected in the ESGH Employee Guidelines Participate in general staff meetings, departmental and managerial meetings, and any other meetings as assigned by your Supervisor, Program Director or Chief Executive Officer Responsible for event, agency and program collateral including graphics, printing, distribution and marketing

  • Bachelor's Degree in public relations, communication, marketing or fundraising
  • And/Or one-year experience in public relations, marketing or fundraising
  • Must have experience with Adobe, In Design, PhotoShop

  • Bloomerang database experience a plus
  • Spanish as a plus
